I love art and it is inspiring to see other accomplishing things. I just wish I could muster the energy and enthusiasm to get back into it again.

What colours/brushes do u use? One thing that i see in all of your paintings is that u have a great feeling of the way you present the light. Nothing overworked, no "unnecessary" details, wich in my eyes just makes it more alive. I personally dont like when it gets to detailed.

this is really good, the only thing i would change is to weaken the jaw so it looks more feminine, I usually make the heads smaller too but thats just a personal preference.

Heather has a strong jaw and hands, then a very slight torso. So that's how I painted her. You can see from the paintings on my blog that she looks very much like Wyeth's Helga. I'll get more models, all sorts. Thanks for your comment!

Both! This was from a photo. I'm shooting a DVD where I'm working from life. Stay tuned.
