How to Properly Wash Your Hands (spanish)

Germs can be found anywhere, especially on your hands. Our hands can attract germs because we use them to touch so many things.

Thats why, the Red Cross would like to help you learn how to properly wash your hands.

First, remember to wash you hands well and frequently, with water and soap or an alcohol-based sanitizer.

Now, we are going to show you how its done:

-Wet your hands with warm water
-apply soap
-Scrub one hand, then the other,, rub the front and back of hands, make sure to run in between fingers and under fingernails. Do this for at least 20 seconds.
-Also, if you have small children, you can make washing hands fun by getting them to sing along to los pollitos (Spanish childrens song). This song is just as long as the amount Red Cross recommends you wash hands for (20 seconds).
-Rinse well
-Dry yourself off with a clean and dry towel
