Maine weather is changeable, as guests aboard the Schooner Heritage found out one fine July day. Trained professional captains and crew make certain the excitement remains fun, and not dangerous. It sure looks serious though, in this on- board video of a major thunderstorm that contained a tornado cell in mid-summer on Penobscot Bay. This is not for the faint-hearted, folks. It's real.
Great video. Reminds me of the old days crossing the Atlantic and sailing the winter winds in California.... Thaks for sticking with the crew even after the rain starts, the wind blows and the lighting strikes. It feels like being there!
