POR ESO YA DEJEN DE EXTINGUIR DESDE TAN CERCA!!! SUFICIENTE CON EL CHORRO A MEDIA NEBLINA Y BAJAR GRADUALMENTE LA TEMPERATURA!!!
IMAGINEN COMO EXPLOTARÍA EL TANQUE DE GLP O GNV.!!!
ALLÍ VOLÓ LOS NEUMÁTICOS. O EL TIPO DE ALEACIÓN DEL ARO VERDAD?

@Dwaas88 That was a front bumper "shock" exploding due to the fire. Most cars now days have pressure vessels similar to shock absorbers mounted behind the front and rear bumpers to absorb the impact of low speed accidents. When heated sufficiently, the internal pressure builds until they blow out. This can cause a violent projecting of the bumper, or parts of the bumper. This is why we specifically train to park apparatus, and to approach and fight the car fire at an angle, never head on.

Front bumper explodes? Or the tire? Sucks man.. :(

A bumper explosion is different than a bumper rocket, just sayin.

@TylerA97 i agree but one thing i would have done is get myself and the down firefighter out of harms way away from the vehicle

Not a common occurrence, but these shocks, or technically pressure vessels, are engineered to fail before pressure builds up to explosion point. Now that said, considering the stats, number of automotive fires vs actual bumper shock explosions, is lest likely then winning the lottery. The lack of video evidence should say something. Firefighting is no joke, good training and common sense is a must guys, but these potential bad scenarios are present when you least expect it. Sorry for leg bud.
