dude.....were you listening in KotOR and TSL???
Revan knew that a war was coming in the unknown regions....AND THIS IS THE WAR HE WAS TALKING ABOUT.
How can you say it's misleading that they named and franchised this around KotOR?
Believe me, your setup is awesome. But as a hardcore nerdy star wars fan, I have to say, this game is my favorite of all time and SHOULD be franchised after the name "Knights of the Old Republic"

HOLY SHIT! you have no idea what your talking about!

am I the only person that thinks multi-moniters look a little ugly and sorta distracting?
-
@Spartan117FS isnt it annoying if something is on the left monitor, the skills are on the middle one and the minimap on the right one..?
-
Are you using 2 or 3 580s? Thanks.
-
Can you explain how you set the UI to display this way?

@Spartan117FS It actually does play a pretty large role. I guess you didn't play much of the beta but decided to bash the game anyways. It determines your dark/light side in the game. It also has effects on companions and can lead to them being romanced and/or killed, just like in KOTOR. It has just as much effect as it did in KOTOR if not more.
"It's boring"
Entry levels are always boring for MMOs. You have absolutely no experience rating MMOs. Stop rating games based off of WoW. Of course it's like WoW. WoW is an MMO, SWTOR is an MMO. They are going to be similar. Go play more of the game before saying it's like WoW. You are a terrible reviewer and none of what you say should be taken for anything other than a lame opinion.

Final fantasy was an RPG, KOTOR was an RPG. However KOTOR revolutionized RPG's by thinking differently and completely revamping social character progression etc. I was expecting Bioware to revolutionize the MMO genre, they failed at that.

@Spartan117FS "Revolutionize" is a term that has been saturated and no longer has any meaning in this context. No matter what advancements someone makes in an MMO, and Bioware has made many, they will never "revolutionize" the genre like so many people think is possible. What does that even mean? The entire game is voice acted. That is an amazing feat for an MMO. The game is huge and detailed. I agree that the graphics aren't the best, but it allows for more people to play the game.

@SineFractal
The voice acting they did for the game is nothing special. Since it has no meaning. They might as well come with an expansion to WoW for voice acting. The voice acting in this game is neat, but it doesn't actually play a significant role like in other RPG's like KOTOR, Mass Effect or stuff like Fallout etc.

KOTOR uses a combat system based off of being able to pause. You can't do that in a MMO. Also, as mentioned before, it takes place 300 years after the second KOTOR so you can't think it's going to be the same. I think Bioware did a pretty good job for an MMO, remember that MMOs have limitations that regular games don't. Please don't rate an MMO on the same levels of a regular game.

I never said that the game was bad, it's a great MMO. However I prefer single player experiences and it's misleading that they named and franchised this game around KOTOR (same logo and nearly identical name).
This is certainly not KOTOR, and if you are expecting it to be KOTOR you will be let down. If you are looking for a good MMORPG, this is amazing.
