This is a modified version of the BYOC Lazy Sprocket, which itself is a clone of the Boss SG-1 Slow Gear. It includes a clean mosfet boost to make up the volume lost by the swell effect. The swell effect can be disengaged, so this doubles as a straight clean booster.

  • I want to check more into this unit. I think I like it. I like how it plays the notes backwards. As far as I know, there isn't anything out there right now that can do that.

  • @shelbytc16v It swells the notes from about 38dB cut to full volume. That is what creates the effect. A backward guitar effect is very difficult to control, and often comes to an abrupt end. But an auto-swell pedal is much easier to control, and has a smoother decay.

  • is there any way i can buy this from you?

  • @bigmags99 Sorry for the extra slow response. I now use a different YouTube page for all my demos (VFEpedals). Yes, there is a way to buy this from me, but right now (December 2010) I am out of stock. It's still called the Bumblebee, but now is smaller & includes an optical compressor (instead of a clean boost). Just visit my website -- which is listed on my YouTube page -- for more information.

The Remote And Illuminating Emblem Are Nice Perks To The Package. Keep In Mind That It Is Quite Large Yet, Relitively Thin. But, If You Are Looking For SERIOUS ...

  • Giana Sisters soundtrack!!!! :D

  • @shelbytc16v FYI, it's not playing the notes backwards.

  • @777kasoy777 Sorry for the extra slow response. I now use a different YouTube page for all my demos (VFEpedals). Attack pot = B100K, tantalum capacitor = .68uf (fast mode), 1.5uf or 2.2uf (medium), and 10uf (slow).

  • @VonRutter can you please tell me the value of the attack pot and one capacitor you're talking about? tnx!

  • I want to check more into this unit. I think I like it.

  • @ShouboushiMime Yes, it's automatic.
