  • My Ridgeback is the sweetest dog ever. He knows his place and the whole thing about never messing with your dogs food...you SHOULD mess with your dogs food when he's young. Food aggressiveness and dominant behavior doesn't fly in my house. And my dog weighs about as much as me.

  • Beautiful dog! Ridgebacks are the ultimate dogs!

  • aw your dog should be on Dancing with the Stars with his balloon socks

  • My ridgy will let me take anything from her. She is never allowed to walk through a door before me and I used to tackle her to the ground as a puppy and hold her to the ground showing her who was boss from an early age. She is the biggest softy in the world. These dogs are NOT highly aggressive. In fact I wish mine were a little more so as she will lick an intruder to death.

  • when someone mentions dog, i think about RR

  • those dogs are highly agressive

  • ... Makes me laugh how some people are taking this so seriously, when in the video info it says "dog accident", she's looks quite young, and the neutral position of her tail shows that she's playing! Stunning dog though

  • haha whhhaaayyyyy

  • Would like to point out a few things on this:

    1. This was not an attack but a warning bite as noted when the camera backed off and the dog immediately turned away to the toy.

    2. The dog was "claiming" this toy just as in food or other things.

    3. The dog warned before the strike indicated by the audible bark (Rhodesians do not usually bark unless something is wrong), as well as the stare down before the strike.

Its very important to work with dogs of all ages in this area. Food and pack order!

  • I have 2 ridgies, you must make sure you take things away from them when you like, put your hands in their food or take it away before they finish eating from being a small pup! They are too large a dog to let them take control. The dog is not to blame, only poor training. Too many people with not enough knowledge get these beautiful big dogs and then they get a bad name due to the bad training.

  • Beautiful Ridgeback, but this is not good behavior.

  • This video ist not funny. Much fun with this dog. ...but the dog is not guilty!!!
