Even with many frustrations of living in a new world, always remember there will be really great times!
Also, it may be easier to navigate at night if you have large buildings near you that are lit up. It is great to have reference points to work

from.

And, finally, the answer to why my map of Japan is crooked!
Enjoy,
-Dusty

  • ^-^ i might sound stupid asking this but do vegetarians eat fish? (this is the first vid i watch of yours, sry if u had to repeat yourself), and i cant wail till i get older....hopefully il be able to afford the trip there. I just hope everything goes smoothly once there =D..

  • vegetarians by definition do not eat meat of any kind including fish.

i do eat fish (only fish though, no other meat) so i would be called a pescatarian

start saving now, so you can afford it later :)

  • Do you actually live there? or are you just a visitor?

Btw nice vid, thanks for the descriptions!

  • Thanks!

And yes, I do actually live here and hopefully for a few years! :)

  • hah cool!

did you have any trouble getting into Japan to live? cause i have heard some horror stories o_o

  • no trouble at all. i came through the JET Programme and they pretty much handle all the bureaucracy which made my life much easier!

  • Lol, you wouldn't like night time in india. trust me.

  • @LifeInShiga

Just wondering... Living in Australia, so everything here is so damned laid back, I had to teach myself how to be a Teen here. How can this compare to Japan? For instance... Just about every girl here always wants a hug and are really adamant on being physical.. Can I expect the same thing or 100% opposite, the chances of meeting someone by just saying "hello" or "konichi-wa" and becoming life long friends from that simple introduction.

  • Do you use lipstick???

  • I agree you vid are so cool XD

  • I'm looking forward to going in my near future

  • Hi I am thinking about going to into the JET program but I havent graduate yet. How long should wait for before I apply do I need to wait untill I get my degree or do I apply doing my Senior year. Because I heard that the JET interview is pretty long. What kind of advice can you give me.

  • Hey that picture to the left of the map... kinda looks like kangetsu ryokan! I'm staying there soon, is it the same place?

  • Around this time...five years ago during my first time in Japan, I thought that I had no culture shock until I broke down crying on my balcony for 10 mns for no apparent reason. That was my most intense moment of culture shock in J-land. Now things are fine... hope you have a great journey in Japan. Peace

  • good thing u told us about the map and the reason why u put it on the wall like that... it's really bothering me, but for that reason i would do it as well^^

    good video though :)

  • do a lot of people speack english? or do youu have to know hardcore japanese?
