@nocturnalserpent you know what, I've seen lots of americans working in china and they can't even tell when or whether they get cursed in Chinese. As long as people make a living, who cares what language(s) they know, or don't know. besides, I don't think there is a pattern that other immigrants learn english faster.

American anything relates more with america than any other country. You take a asian american, african american, hispanic american...wtf do you call white americans...european americans and they would relate more to each other than the counterparts in the other countries.
