The only thing that has changed in the last 10 years, which is when all of the experts have decided the Mule deer decline began, is this area is in a devastating 10 to 15 year drought, which has affected the sage, which is the primary food source of the mule deer for the winter.

We need Oil and Gas and as long as they are regulated by our government agencies we will continue to find a happy medium. Thanks for your comments!

Get your facts straight or better yet, visit the area for your self and see what is really happening. If it were not for Oil workers, most of the biggest deer in the area would have been poached. These guys are truly the watch dogs of the Mule deer and Pronghorn in the area. I hope this helps open your eyes. Don't be sheep, try to think for yourself and make educated decisions.

Sublet county consists of 3 million 128 thousand acres, the Jonah Field makes up only 25 thousand total acres which includes all of the ground between drilling rigs or roads. Ground that still provides plenty of feed for all of the wildlife in the area.
if you as you claim " are the protecters of wildlife " in that area why are you killing them? just a question.

@tgltyty These guys are driving in and around the the winter range during the mule deers most vulnerable time of the year. It is illegal to hunt these deer during this time of the year, so having the pumpers around to keep poachers and predators away has proven very helpful to the mule deer population. The deer they refer to in this segment was killed in high country where the deer have a much better chance of surviving any type of predation. Hope this helps!

We had a great year taking over 40 animals on film. I'm in Ohio, but I've heard about your freezing cold weather. It's raining here right now. Thanks for the comments!
