Inspired by this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rs57ig...) from Natracare organic tampons, we also decided to do a water glass test to look at the issue of fiber loss, with some disconcerting results.

    I am going to buy the diva cup! I have never used tampons and I'm glad I didn't I switched to reusable menstrual pads anyways :-)

    That fiber loss part was pretty gross! Haven't used tampons for years. Once you go diva cup it's hard to go back

    How so? It's medical-grade silicone so it's not going to give you an infection or anything, and the vaginal walls are quite muscular, so holding a lightweight cup isn't going to damage them.

    Actually the tampon is false, a tampon sits in the vagina by the cervix that drips occasionally, but tampons are bag for other reasons

    I had never heard of the fiber loss thing. Ugh. I haven't used a tampon since I got pregnant in 2008, and man. Menstruation gets easier from there.
