This video got me wondering how to tell the difference between cloud streets (wind parallel to clouds) and gravity wave clouds (wind perpendicular to clouds). I'm thinking these are gravity waves because they're so smooth (look up "gravity waves" in youtube and in wikipedia for some shots that look similar to this) but I'm not sure.
