  • it seems a few of the seedlings are dying. not sure what i have done wrong!

  • Hi bumearuk it sounds like you may have damping off disease which is caused by moist conditions, poor air circulation and overcrowded seedlings. It causes the seedlings to collapse and die. Unfortunately, damping off quickly spreads so it would be best to start again with a fresh, clean tray. To prevent damping off make sure you sow your seeds thinly (and further thin them once they are growing), and keep your seedlings well ventilated. Let the compost surface dry out between watering. Good luck

  • Hi, my salad seedlings are growing tall and look very thin. What should I do?

  • Hi bumearuk, it sounds like your seedlings aren't receiving enough light. Too much warmth and not enough light causes seedlings to grow tall and leggy. Try moving them to a brighter position - a south-facing windowsill would be ideal.

  • Thanks I received my Goji Berries plant this week at the sorting office. I was well please!! I was surprise to see that the Goji Berries plant was quit Big!!

  • @queeny107 That's great news! Glad you were pleased with them.

  • Thanks, they have been inside where it is warm on the windowsill but this last week the sun has not been great. I have moved them outside now and they seem to be doing ok

  • @thompsonmorgan - I love ordering from Thompson because they always encouraging you to plant and grow with there special offers. I don't bother with the organic catalogue because there are no incentive to grow Vegetable and fruits, and even on the phone they are COLD as ICE check out there video which confirms it!! any way. say Thanks to all the staff on the phone stay are so polite and friendly.
