回忆（原创）

"回忆它很甜蜜，但是为何它最痛？"

This is the first song I have composed when I was learning in LWS School. I was given the freedom to write on any themes and I thus chose my usual comfort zone of love songs. Indeed, I first started out to compose my own songs after some relationship downturn and since then sentimental love songs have became my own comfort zone.

This song may not be that inspiring to everyone since the entire song comes from my own experiences and story. No matter how we long for the past, it is indeed impossible to go back to the past and live the sweet memories once it has passed. These memories are sweet but somehow they feel painful when we think about them and long for them to be re-lived. They leave us feeling lonely at times.

However, in this coming new year, I wish that everyone of us can set aside these memories and past to continue on embracing the future. Keep the sweet, leave the bitter.

On a side note, if any of you find the melody familiar, the song is composed entirely on the chord progression from one of my idol's, JJ Lin, song 第几个一百天. Again, I give much credits to Hideaki Koh.

My singing may not be that good but I hope you will listen to the feelings put into the song with your heart. That is all I ask from all of you!
