Here is a "z" shaped paddle-less flybar which exhibits cyclics even without the paddles. Cyclics are felt on the inner part (straight portion) of the flybar while the outer flybar tips maintain its position with the gyroscopic plane due to the self-centering effects of the weights. This means it is possible to pitch the flybar via its central control ring + swash without the use of the paddles and simply rely on the gyroscopic weights to lock the tips of the "z" shaped bar.
that is a very good idea.
