Filming has already begun and knowing the film industry, they will now sail along at due course. So for us, if there is one thing were people can hit them and they will get the message it's the thing that Hollywood's religion: Their Wallets!

However, a simple boycott text petition would not do for us. It's one thing when a bunch of random anonymous people on the internet posts on some back end fan forum that they will not see the movie. It's another thing entirely when someone has a real name and face attached to that and it's publicized on the internet and the news.

The Last Airbender Video Boycott, is quite simply all of you guys and a YouTube page. I have a candid formal Boycotting statement that people will record them self's reading; revealing their race, first name and location. The statement declares that they will not see the movie when it hits theaters next year and thus they have lost money from one of their potential customers. These videos will then be send to me were I will upload them to our new boycott YouTube page debuting this Friday.

Over time, more and more videos will be up on our page. We will also link to other videos such as presentations, rants and other things on video about the Avatar World and how bad Paramount is screwing up the film.

When enough videos are collected, I will take them and edit them together into one rapid-fire viral video that will be sent to my friends who work in national newspapers and TV news channels.

The whole point of this project is to communicate to Paramount, M. Night and others working on the film that the fans of the Avatar show are a very diverse multi-racial and multi-cultural community. And that by offending this community, they have lost ticket sales from this group in return.

  • The movie sucked. An asian would of been a lot better. Who ever is better should get the role. Clearly who was ever acting in it doesn't have a clue how to act the part. Anyone that thought the movie was good has a low standard.

  • Not only that, but it is quite obvious that the fire nation was portrayed as an Asian culture in the animated series, clearly not Indian as in the movies. And many terms used in the movie are cultural bias.

  • And if you want to know why it's racist. Than how about a summary of the movie. A scene of eastern settings, a monks temple, Chinese ships known as junks, and then many, many Inuit, Indian, and Asian actors only to have each of them with a white actor with speaking parts. It was like, I'm sorry I can't even look at you damned ugly Asian I need a white person to speak. People who can't sense the racism obviously have never been a victim of being unprovoked racism.

  • The point is that America is a melting pot. And if that kid was the best Aang martial artist who captured the spirit of the character I would support this movie. However I am highly skeptical considering there are a "billion Chinese" *jking* But in truth the kid was a block of wood and there are plenty of Chinese American, or Asian Americans who could have portrayed at the very least Aang. this was not the case in this movie.

  • I can't believe be are being so stupid as claiming that the movie is racist. They are most likely the same idiots that think Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was racist because they cast a black guy to play the black ranger.

  • @Elbottoo

this is 3 months old....but.....um...you're just simply (how to put it)...wrong. Avatar is not "FULLY" based on Chinese mythology. There are greek elemtns, british elements, hindu, 1960 hippies, rednecks from louisiana bayou, japanese and tibetan elements, german elements, and a series of other cultural influences. Have you even seen the show?

  • Yellow power! LOL

  • @HoraceGoodspeed your stupid ~_~ im just saying
