  • Not a smoker and I oppose the smoking ban. What has be done to smokers is a disgrace. Akin to being deemed second class citizens with extra taxes and implied segregation. If a bar's a smoking bar, I won't go, but I don't have a problem with it. I'm sure it will prosper.

It is our choice, not the government's. They have no business at this level of intrusion.

  • @beta447 They both are against the drug war. Nick Gillespie and John Stossel want to legalize ALL drugs.

  • This guy is full of shit from the first word. If he supported freedom before safety, he would start out by criticizing the drug war which has ruined more lives than all of the stuff he mentions combined. He's basically lying by saying you are not allowed to smoke or eat fatty things. There are simply incentives against them with undeniable public health benefits. But plenty of medical students caught with 1g of weed lost the opportunity to save your life because rich people wanted it that way.

  • @gdbalck and smoking bars usually have an area for non smokers because they want out business.

  • Smoke, get fat, whatever. Just don't expect the government to pay for your healthcare if you get sick

  • i thought this was just happening in fascist australia

  • the progressive idea if personal freedom breaks down when they realise economic freedoms are just a sub-set of personal freedoms.

IF there is to be two variables in a chart, (Nolan chart is flawed)

one variable should be the amount of power exercised on other people.

the other variable should be decentralised or centralised power.

example: left libertarians would be the same as classical liberals on decentralised, but opposite on amount of power exercised.

  • what is that bassline? also great video

  • Stossel and Gillespie are warriors in the battle of ideas for a better world

  • check out the Nanny State Liberation Front on facebook!!! Great articles and forums to discuss all this BS

  • @gina7177 ahh thanks. I'll try to find the exact quote... shouldn't be to difficult. :)
