A Future In Graphic Design

This is a short film made by myself for my Senior Technology Class. It was for an Apple contest, and describes briefly my post-highschool plans to pursue graphic design. just want to say, great work in the video, super creative. I am new to graphic design and i dont know much about it, but i am creative and love doing that kind of stuff. did you take many art classes in highschool?

And my high school had a pretty small art department so I didn't take a lot of classes. All the computer software I taught myself until I got to college.

I'm a freshman in highschool and i need to figure out what i'm going to do after highschool, I'm always drawing in my notebooks and doodling random things, do you think graphic design is the uh, career for me? if so, do you think i should hit an art school after highschool or where should that all drop, thanks Josh!

For highschool kids that doodle all the time, alot of people will say graphic design is for you. It's a wide career field with lots of oppurtunities.

I'd say get your hands on a few Adobe products, mess around a bit, and see how it feels.

Also, do some research on the graphic design field. There are a lot of different jobs, some may grab your attention.

honestly your work shows more promise than a lot of the people who got into the competitive graphic design program here at UNT. this is from '06 and i'm curious... did you ever end up going to school?
