@MrRapidWien: Natürlich nicht hingeflogen. Sondern eben Wien Traisengasse - Pyongyang Hbf mit dem Zug (über Bratislava - Kiev - Moskau - Novosibirsk - Irkutsk - Khabaróvsk, insgesamt ca 13000 km).

@MrRapidWien: Eigentlich nicht, wir hatten ja gültige Visa. Details zum Grenzübertritt gibts im Reisebericht. Es war ja doch insofern spannend, da wir - ohne es den Nordkoreanern zu sagen - eine Grenbzübergang gewählt haben, über den in den letzten 15 Jahren wohl kaum (wenn überhaupt) westliche Touristen gefahren sind...

This route was not officially available to tourists when we took it, but we didn't care and just tried it. Fortunately it was a sucess and everything went well, but I can't guarantee that it would work a 2nd time...

arn't there guards checking peoples pappers? according to -inside north korea- guards makes sure people inside the country cannot travle anywhere without permitts from officials, attempts ends...well in horrible consequences.
