Feel less guilty thanks in part to the reduced carbon footprint... There are reduced calorie chips too.
PepsiCo has made important progress in GHG reduction by establishing a rigorous new internal framework to drive energy conservation efforts. Frito-Lay's transition to a more fuel-efficient fleet included a significant investment in electric-powered commercial trucks. In 2010, 13 electric Frito-Lay delivery trucks began their routes in the U.S. and Canada. By the end of this year, some 176 all-electric delivery vehicles will be on the streets. The all-electric delivery trucks will ultimately be part of the largest planned fleet of commercial all-electric trucks in North America.
