Ok first of all HAMAS was a terrorist group BEFORE the ELECTION, the palestinians people knew this, but elected them anyway.

When you support the organisation of elections, you must be ready to accept the result. They voted for a political party which the US and Israel then refused to recognise! I'm terribly sorry, but when an organisation that is between political action and activism gets elected, you try to encourage its political action, not develop its terrorist side! Blame the US and Israel for what Hamas has become, they entirely created it!

Allow me to protest: I am a greek, born in Brussels and studying in the UK. I have no intention (or power, or willingness) to destroy Israel and never said it was in my intention. Hamas was a political party AND a terrorist organisation. I will repeat my point that by refusing to give credit to the legitimate side which the palestinian population elected, US/IL forced them to use their other side, their terrorist activities. That's where the Bush doctrine has led all these years!
