@MrBrisbaneman1994 Irving Welschs book 'marabou Stork Nightmares' is amazing, but was a few very graphic and disturbing scenes. It's about redemption,and guilt and abuse but a fantastic book,IMO.

@MrBrisbaneman1994 CON, Rents realises that the 1st bum, who asked if he and Begbie were 'trainspotting'..That was Begbies father..the piss soaked drunk they see first. That's where the name comes from. Great Book!!!

@MrBrisbaneman1994 The film is after the book trainspotting.It gets its name from a part in the book(that's not in the film)Begbie and Rents are walking thru an abandoned trainstation,and they see a filthy,toothless drunk who stinks of piss.The drunk asks 'Are you boys trainspotting?' Begbie+Rents keep walking,Begbie sees 2 different bums asleep,and kicks/beats them half to death,without saying a word. It's only after when Rents is home,he realises that the 1st bum,who asked if they were CON
