The Sri Lanka Navy which seized another large LTTE ship has been escorted to the Colombo Harbour.

MV Princess Chrisatha; is a ship which belonged to the LTTE terror outfit. It would have fulfilled the war aims of the terrorists for a long period. The ship which was captured by the Security Forces reached Colombo today.
According to the intelligence Units, the ship has been utilized for arms smuggling and human trafficking during the period of war. Government sources said all the assets being acquired will be utilized for the development of the country considering the fact that they all belong to the people.

Giving views to the media, Navy Commander Vice Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe said they had been able to acquire an asset which had been used against the Navy by the terrorists off the shores. This vessel could have created havoc since it carried lethal cargo. He said the Navy played a decisive role to destroy similar vessels far away from the shores.

This vessel had been supplying arms to the terrorists while becoming a venue to take them to other countries. It is not a secret that the ship had been geared to supply the service of giving support for the terrorist to flee the country.
