Controlled by a Lynxmotion SSC-32 and a program running on Windows Vista laptop. The operation of the mouth will eventually be programmatically controlled by any audio source input. (Note: see how I recycle Clementine boxes) Search for "Penguin Animatronic in Action" for the latest video.

  • @incrediblecreatures I don't know what "tutes" is... I designed and built the mechanics myself and used a Lynxmotion SSC-32 servo controller to drive the servos. The SSC-32 is controlled by commands send over a serial port and I wrote the software to generate these moves.

    You've done a great job. I'm very keen to learn how to do this kind of

    thing, i build mascot costumes and want to put together costumes with the ability to convey emotion by the use of animatronics!
