Wikipedia is a good source of info for anyone that doesn't care about getting things completely accurate or who are lazy. Sure some things are correct, but anyone can put anything on wiki. At uni we are told never to use wiki as a source of information and I agree. We actually get marked down for referencing wiki.

So many people use it as their only source of info, then argue if a more legit source says otherwise cause they think wiki is always accurate.

As with any reference of information for academic purposes,it should be crossed referenced to verify its validity. However, for casual, or even infotainment, wikapedia is a good source for people to pool communal knowledge.
