I have a 1974 GT 160 that i restored and a rebuilt 1980 Murcury 140 hp

I got a tower of power 115 merc and it is a very nice engine on are boat :D

Excellent boat! I see you've put one of the last Mercury 'Towers of Power' Inline-Sixes on it. Keep that motor well tuned and maintained!

You going to keep the motor looking 80's original, or are you going to re-decal it and put a pre-'74 faceplate on it to make it look more vintage?

I have the original '72 1150 as well, and NOS Merc decal sets for both the '72 and late 80's inlines.
We'll see.
