I wasn't too much of a River fan in series 4, but I have to say I'm eager to see what happens with her in the new series, and am willing to give her a chance. It looks interesting.

The Tardis may be different, but it is just like the First Doctor's. So suck it up. Anyway, I think Matt Smith will do fine. People need to remember that everyone hated David Tennant at first, and now he's everyone's favorite Doctor.

Is River Song his campanion now? I hope not, it's bad enough to have this guy with wierd hair and frankenstein face as Dr. Who. My favorite doctor was a toss up between Pertwee and Colin Baker, but if they ever find more video of Patrick Troughton as the doctor, I might change my mind. I have seen Matt Smith in Ruby in the Smoke, etc, and was not impressed, hope he has improved.

I did like Rose and the Doctor together but I think if you do it to much you ruin it like he shouldn't be interested in every companion. I think to soon but we'll see!
