Booting up my SGI Octane2

A video of my SGI Octane2 captured with a crappy web camera. The sound is way off, sorry about that :)

Yeah, I hate the fact that the octane2 didn't have the cube logo on it, so I got a few extra ones and stuck one to the front of the octane, and one on my samsung monitor :)

I'd love a V12, but they're a bit expensive still in the second-hand market. I believe the demo is one of the ones in /usr/demos/octane. It's not an Octane2 specific demo.

I'm away from home so I can't paste the hinv output, but it's a pretty low-spec Octane2: single cpu R12000 400mhz, 1gig ram, VPro graphics (V6).

I'vs got an Octane2 v10 graphics I think it's 300 Mhz processor, with 1 gig ram, god knows why i got it it just sit there looking @ me. Lovley big monitor on it though, 21" I beleive they are re-badged Sony
