Truly dangerous wit. Yes, I also love it. I wrote them a spate of fan mail after starting to watch their work, and they were very civilized, replying to my appreciation promptly with the single yet eloquent word, 'pleasure'. In my grandparents day, we had Wayne & Shuster in Canada. There are still a few videos of their program on YT if it strikes your interest. I have a loose theory that the commonwealth countries, for all their difficulties, hold far and away the leading culture of comedy.

Correct. America is actually a fascist nation if you look at what fascism really is in a non-pejorative manner. Fascism is a marriage of big government and big corporation in an unholy alliance. That defines the USA. Furthermore, the Fascism that we have is further hindered from any semblance of success due to our debt based economy and the boom bust economy via the Federal Reserve.
