Okay, finally translating more of HayakawaP's "Girl Series". There's two parts to the series, each with 3 songs. This one's in the second part. HayakawaP describes the series as "as little sad and a little weird."

This song was tricky because of the plot. Even though Len says "All I do is write up your strange case files," I'm kind of under the impression that he also commits the crimes in order to entice the girl detective. Hmm.

They're in a series but it's not all one story. I'm pretty sure they're all one-shots. The last song in the series references some of the other songs, but that's as complicated as it gets.

Yeah, it's not a quality issue. The music is definitely the focus here. HayakawaP said on his blog that he was aiming for it come off as something you'd find on an old-timey movie soundtrack. Maybe that's why Len is so drowned out, since a lot of old vocals are like that from bad recording equipment, lol.
