Metal Slug 2nd Mission playing on the SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color retro handheld games console. Retro Gaming.

This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability.
It's simply a quick demonstration of the game so that anyone not familiar with these old games can see what it looks like.
It's also here so that I can embed it, along with most of the games in my collection, on my website (see link above).

Any opinions or comments I make regarding these games should largely be taken with a pinch of salt.
They are usually based on my first impressions after a very brief play.

  • @wonphi Doubtful, the Neo Geo Pocket didn't have the name Nintendo, and it also didn't have 3rd party support. Not only that but, the system was initially sold online, in 99, online shopping wasn't a huge thing. Rarely anyone knew about it.

  • @equirnam the system itself definitely was way a head of it's time and much more advance than the GBC. However, what made GBC a force to be reckoned with was the different amounts of software that came for it, especially with the overly popular pokemon series exclusive for that platform. Had the Neo Geo offered as much software as the GBC, it would have easily not have been overshadowed by the much weaker GBC.

  • Bring out the NeoGeo Pocket Advanced! =p

  • it looks better than emulated

  • I love this game...Now to get 1st mission...

  • great game. Just bought it! Great review!
