Huckabee says he won't air negative ad (part 2)

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee said Dec. 31 he intended to air ads that respond to negative attacks made by GOP rival Mitt Romney. The Monday press conference was intended to address those ads. However, 10 minutes prior to taking the stage, Huckabee announced his campaign was pulling the ads from the rotation. The former Arkansas governor said he would not go negative because he has to live with himself after the caucus.

Do a little homework on this guy. He sounds good, but his record doesn't reflect what he says. This whole scam exposes his true colors. I cannot trust this guy.

The whole thing sounds fishy to me. If you're cancelling the ad but already scheduled a conference, why not just find something else to talk about?  No, I think this went down as planned for some free publicity. Showing an attack ad while claiming you're not running one.
