Dude you were dead right, that what happened to them after he left just proved that he was right to get up, and had been putting up with a lot of the shit. And sure, this crappy tv show comes off looking lame but you've just got to understand this is his way of trying to hop from the 'musician' career to 'celebrity' career. Ok dude, I follow you for a little bit then you go in a different direction. 1st off Supernova is not exactly washed up rock stars. Tommy Lee?? Still rocking strong. And the thing with Metallica S&M...KISS did it, Scorpions did it, and it worked for them. Not something you want to see all the time, but still it worked. Jason left Metallica because James wouldn't allow him to do his side project. Simple as that. He still rocks. Metallica on the other hand has ...well... just not that good

I agree with everything except recording the symphonic S&M, Load and Re Load were...well....A LOAD! Even so that album wasen't bad, hearing some of their older heavy stuff played with an orchestra.
