USC TMB - Conquest

Shot at Homecomeing in 2005 at Heritage Hall at USC.
The Band is really spread out so its hard to hear anything but drums and trumpets on the recording.

I have seen other recordings of this preformance from other angles on here, which is interesting.

I remember playing this song in my high school marching band. But, I don't remember the tempo being this slow. Shouldn't the pace of the song be picked up a bit??

actually, the original version of this was intended to be performed by a full symphony orchestra. the original was faster. if you search for "usc conquest" its the first hit. its really good.

@behemoth6079 I know. We play it in the USC Concert Band every few years. But the point is, Conquest is now USC's song. Our version is far better known. There's much more power behind this slower version anyway.

This arrangement is much better than the one Boston did. I can't find St. Agnes though.

nah havent you seen the dr dre commercial for dr pepper....slow down the beat..trust me im the doctor. its absolutely perfect, and i hope to hear it plenty of times on saturdays this fall.
