New linerless technology in printing and application of labels

Printing and application of labels on two sides of boxes.
The labelling machine on your right (application on the front of the box) is the new Linerless print & apply labelling solution designed and developed by CICRESPI ENGINEERING "L'Alternativa", using a self-adhesive continuous tape without backing paper.
This is the alternative to the common self-adhesive label to solve environment and logistics problems, such as: water, dirt, collisions, disposal, consistence, stability, duration.

Main benefits are:
• No silicone backing: save substrate costs;
• Less weight and volume: less stock and transport costs, no scrap to waste;
• Double reel capacity: half machine stops to change reel;
• Environmental friendly: totally recyclable materials, no silicone substrate to dispose;
• Extreme size flexibility: tape is cut at the length you need.

It is available with 4, 5, 6 inches thermal transfer units.
Label is a 60 micron polypropylene with a permanent hot-melt water based acrylic adhesive, neutral mat white, colourable, printed and overprintable.
It is environmental friendly and recyclable. Length can be determined at your own choice.
It is abrasion and collision-proof, it does not produce working residual as liner does.
The material is available in reels of mm 50, 75, 100, 150 for 1000 mt (standard sizes, more upon request) on a 75 mm diameter cardboard core for a total external length of 300 mm.

The labelling machine on your left (application on the side of the box) instead is a print&apply labelling machine using the classic roll of self-adhesive labels.
