Dzevad Selimovic traveled from New York to Phoenix to kill his ex-girlfriend, stabbing her to death with a screwdriver.Selimovic's daughter, who lives in New York, just found out her father admitted to brutally killing his former girlfriend, 27-year-old Emina Redza.
Police say Selimovic admitted to planning the killing for days. He traveled from New York to visit, just before allegedly stabbing her to death with a screwdriver in her north Phoenix apartment Thursday.
Police say Selimovic stabbed her in the face, throat, upper back and hands with a 6-inch, serrated tire-repair screwdriver. He then fled the scene, only to approach a police officer and confess to it later.
