True Life: I Have Narcolepsy- Let Me Sleep

A true account of Sleep Paralysis with Hypnagogic Hallucinations. Sleep Paralysis is a symptom of Narcolepsy that occurs upon falling asleep or waking up. During Sleep Paralysis, the body struggles to transition from REM sleep to wakefulness. Although completely conscious and aware of my surroundings, my body remains paralyzed. When accompanied by Hypnogogic Hallucinations, the results are terrifying. The images and audio hallucinations experienced during these episodes, feel so real, it's hard to believe the truth upon awakening. The background music is a song my brother, Andrew Scruton, wrote for me after listening to yet another of my crazy Sleep Paralysis stories. He has supported me through the worst of it.

it's frightening.. then back into dreams and SP then vivid nightmares then SP and on and on and unable to fully wake up.when I do eventually wake up I'm exhausted.emotionally , mentally and physically.The things I dream,the things I hallucinate are beyond explanation as how terrifying they can be-so real- .

Your video is fab-it's strange seeing sleep paralysis being recorded-something I've wanted to do myself- I feel everything you go through as I have SP often.. it's terrifies me at times.sometimes it can last hours.. slipping in and out of dreaming when I wake I'm stuck in limbo having SP and hallucinating ..
