However, an Israeli government spokesman said there are still conditions that Israel wants the Palestinian side to fulfill. Egypt's Intelligence Chief Omar Suleiman has been trying to mediate a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas. He will present the proposal to Israeli officials. The cease-fire agreement includes a six-month truce between Israel and the Gaza Strip. As Palestinians discussed the issue in Cairo, an Israeli aircraft attacked southern Gaza, killing a member of Islamic Jihad and wounding three other Palestinians. The Israel army confirmed the attack.
