  • The Hale rocket was patented by a Brittish Artillery officer in 1846. The US army bought the rights to make them. The Hale Rocket was used in the Mexican war. It was they added to many arsenals around the country making it available for use in the ACW. The Hale making use of spin to stabilize it in flight unlike the standard Congrieve which was nothing more than an overgrown bottle rocket .

  • @Captainvideo54 If I understand your post, my title (Confederate Bottle Rocket) is inaccurate. Should I call it "Initiate Roll Program?"
