  • Fenn Street Gang- took a good while, but they finally realised the actors were far too old to be schoolkids!

  • Thanks for posting this. It was an amazing trip back to the big family christmases I enjoyed as a kid.

  • @leudrerrep Cheeky sod! I was 8 in 72 and I still have just over 2 years before I'm 50!

  • @veganpitstafflover thanks.

  • @Forestamtul Yes, it was called The Fenn Street Gang, and it ran for three series. Series 4 of Please Sir (which really wasn't very good at all) had a new cast , though members of the original three series made cameo appearances. There was also a 'Please Sir' feature film, which is often shown on tv, and is well worth a look. All are available on DVD for a serious nostalgiafest and I can highly recommend them.

  • Bob Todd 7:06!

  • Was this the spin off from Please sir?

  • Stunning snapshot of the era - fascinating.

    Thanks for sharing.
