Those of us who have left our African countries to come and try make ends in the Western world relate to this song. Yes, its hard but shida zafanya tutengwe na wale tuwapendao including our sunny and beautiful lands in exchange for baridi na madharau from wangwana in quotes. Mungu ibariki Africa. Its a shame all those guys are no more- great talents they had.

you have to understand one thing, les wanyika is from TZ but they were based in Kenya just like other groups like super mazembe [of the shauri yako fame] originally from Congo but based in Nairobi. The early 60's,70's and 80's saw many bands set base in Kenya coz the enterainment industry had the money.

All the original members of les wanyika have since passed away. This is a recent video,i think johny ngereza's son is the lead singer.
