American Humane Certified is a voluntary, fee-based service available to producers of animals in agriculture. The program provides independent, third party audited verification that the care and handling of animals on enrolled farms meet the animal welfare standards set forth by American Humane Certified. Producers who meet the standards may use the American Humane Certified label on their products.

  • Animals are meant to be on pasture, not a dirt lot or crammed in large building their whole lives. Do those chickens ever see the sun? Probably not. Sure, they're "free-range", but by most standards that means they only need 1.5 sq. ft of room per bird....indoors. These animals are meant to eat grass and green plant material...not GMO corn, animal by-products, or soy. Not humane.

  • Please school me. Isn't there a conflict of interest when a company pays you to do the auditing?

  • susieqpa they are talking about milk and eggs here.

  • I want to eat food that come from happy animals and I'm willing to pay more for that privilege! Thanks for this video.

  • If only this were true. If you could see the true treatment of these poor animals you would be a vegetarian. This is a bunch of crap
