It's called 'pre-potting'. You use a potion 1 second before the pull, then you can essentially use 2 per fight.

When we killed Ragnaros, we absolutely need the 2 pots for every raiders ( except healers ) !
Our tanks also use golemblood potion for the 3rd phase ;)
