  • Wow....It's utterly mind-blowing to hear the next First Lady of the United States address lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgendered individuals as if they were actual human beings just like she is. Things are definitely looking up in this country.

  • Thank you, Michelle. You and Barack are brave and principled. You are wonderful role models for our country.

  • Yes.

Because the stance of people generally is that lesbians, homosexuals, or any of these people that she addresses... aren't people.

Your straw man attack is hateful.

  • Michelle, you are my hero!

  • Ms. Obama said nothing about gay rights or marriage. Neither of the Obamas have ever mentioned gay rights at all. What is their position? This is troubling and I hope my comment isn't deleted from this message board - it's a fair question.

  • I want to hug her.

    She'll make an awesome

    first lady.

  • GO BARACK!!!!!

  • Does anyone know what a caucus is?

  • She's fierce.

  • I'd like to have heard more of Ms. Obama's perspective on LGBT issues.
