a few examples of aircraft design piracy - just my opinion . . . . of soviet era planes . . .
I am not taking any sides with this video, I personally like russian hardware.
The only reason for doing this video to point out some of the unnatural similarities found in aircraft designs . . . . I am sure there are more design copies out there . . . please comment if you know any other . . . .

Great video man ! people just gives u a lot of dislike because your video is true and they dont like that..especially when they see their precious F35 is just a copy from the Yak144M. All I can say is that why reinventing a new wheel rather than improves it and make it better.

F-15 is a copy of MIG-25, Yak is copy of the british harrier, you got those two wrong.

@Tihamah3 the british harrier has a completely different V/STOL operation than that of the YAK . . . F35 uses similar setup of the YAK

wrong about yak 141/ f 35. The technology was purchased officially and the yakovlev designers were paid emplyees during the designing fase . 1st- it was the cheapest way to go. 2nd- it was the time of Russia-US goodwill cooperation and Pentagon wanted to show a good face and give Kremlin money for actual work rather than a bribe. The final design however is not the same as on yak and f35 uses more sofisticated materials.

The MIG-21 has similarities to the English Electric Lightning though the wings are different.

@Tihamah3 YAK has nothing to do with the Harrier, their V/STOL are two different concepts. The Harrier used a primitive design where the main engine had nozzles to bleed off some of the exhaust that would be routed to the wings and nose to provide control during V/STOL. The YAK design had the superior twin, and in case of the YAK-41 Freestyle three engine design. This meant more control during V/STOL since there was more power to maneuver the aircraft. This design was copied by the F-35.

@WakeUpDummies The Horton proved it was stealthy using shape RCS to confuse radar, it worked, but triangle shaped planes have fucking horrible aerodynamics (ex. B-2 bomber) thats why it needs computers to work, which the nazis never had. Hey even the RAM coating was from the Germans, Sumpf and Shornsteinfeigers material.
