Master Chief NEVER had a girlfriend, but when he was recruited before the UNSC found Halo, John had two really good friends, also spartans. One of them was named Kelly. The other was Sam. If John DID have a girlfriend it would most likely be Kelly. Read Halo The Fall of Reach
