  • Besides his talent to arrange and sing songs, Arlo can play the piano great!! Man, he's one hell of a guy....

Thanks for all the songs you gave us Arlo and thanks for posting this masterpiece!

  • One has to be "old enough" to know Arlo's style and sense of humor to truly appreciate his "story" regarding the song. Calling it "gaelic" does two things......It makes Jews laugh at the absurdity of his story, and it prevents the Anti-semites from knowing it's a jewish song. and there was still anti semites in the industry in the 70s. And while there are "much better" re: more traditional versions of the song, however hearing Arlo do this will always bring a bright smile to my "kosher face"

  • @FionMacCumhail This is nothing compared to him being called racist for his story on Guabi, Guabi. I've seen Arlo so many times I can't count & loved every concert. His stories are always HIS. The songs are great. He does not believe what he is saying & I'm shocked so many don't know this. He uses humor & guess there are a log of people without a sense of humor. He gave a 3hr+ free benefit for Jewish League in Cincy in 90's. His mom was Jewish. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Woodie who was Jewish.

  • I LOVE this song, and I love Arlo, so this is PERFECT!!!

  • @ilovelasagna Oh my goodness, REALLY?? that's AMAZING!!! MY great great great great great grandfather was the first white child born in my county! :)

  • I was there! The pre-show meet & greet was an "uplifting" experience (look at his face). But it's all fun and games until someone gets poked in the eye with a clampoon.

  • Boy, I really need Arlo to slow down a bit and teach me the words.

  • AHAHAHAHAAAA

  • Lovely performance!

  • i mean, the gaelic. lol.

  • oh wow, he butchered the hebrew.
