I agree - as someone who personally loathes Bush. This is part of why I recognize that Stewart is a superior person to me, and I'm glad that he has a voice in this debate on destructive politics. With the exception, perhaps, of his public views on Bob Novak, he generally resists the tendency we have of grouping people into good vs. evil. I go around calling Bush an evil man, but the reality is he probably is a decent guy on an interpersonal level. He's just the wrong man for the job he has.

How can you like rap and sleep at night? Are you unable to hear the prison yard aesthetics? Are you numb to ugliness? Why is Fox successful? But Jon, why are you successful? Because you make an audience feel, not think. South Park makes you feel conservative feelings. You make people feel Tina Fey glasses wearing smart. It's all feeling. The actual logic is flimsy. wow!!!! a liberal defending a conservatives humanity. what a concept. This is something that no conservative has ever done for a liberal. If everyone looked passed others affiliations and ideologies and saw another human being, maybe we could get something done.

i'm a fairly conservative person and tend to watch fox news. i don't agree with everything that is said on there and you can always sense a bias in the topics - i agree wholeheartedly with what jon stewart says in this video - why can't we have a program that tells a story objectively.
