Well, I felt I needed to make this, as my last tutorial for running cats was not only horrifyly anatomically incorrect, but it really didn't EXPLAIN anything, so I added a tutorial voice to this one to try and explain some things ^^ (sorry, my mic quality died a little in the first 30 seconds)
Oh yeah and before the barrage of comments about the hair come in, No, cats do not have hair, I just preffer drawing them with it, in a weird way it suits the way I animate :)
TO ALL MS PAINT USERS!!!!!!!
This can indeed be done on MS paint, but the process is fiddly and may need another tutorial entirely from me in order to explain it, but for now, this will at least give you a guide :)
LINK TO THE REFERANCE VIDEO I USED ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGuW-i8ugn8
(It is computer generated, but shows lots of angles, which is what I like about it, as well as very close anatomy :D)
If there are any questions you wish to ask me, do not hesitate to ask me and I will reply with the answer (if I have it!), and if there are some questions that are asked repeatedly, I will post an FAQ in this description.
The frames can all be seen at the end if you wish to referance from them, slowed so you can pause with ease :3
Any other animation requests? If I get enough for a certain movement or sequence I might do another tutorial if enough people wish it ^^
PROGRAMS I USED ~
Corel Painter X (basically a sister program of Photoshop)
Windows movie maker (putting stuff together) *KILL IT WITH FIRE!*
Windows Live movie maker (to view the frames easily)
SONGS ~
September ~ Earth, Wind and Fire
God damn it's a nice day ~ NegaRen
This running cycle will be used for fire and ice :)
