  • Evan was a beautiful person.

  • Absolutely essential information. Teen suicide requires far greater understanding. It requires love, friendship, therapy, medication, etc. Let's save our children. VI

  • God bless Dana Perry and the family....you touched so many lives with this documentary. I believe Evan is in a better place. Let's encourage our people that they don't have live life this way or have to end it so tragically. Life is too short so live it to its fullest. There's no turning back.

  • I am a parent, I am a grandparent. When I first saw this film on HBO I felt so involved.

The film is from the heart and very well done in all aspects. Young Evan was a beautiful, gifted person, born to beautiful, gifted parents. Thanks for sharing your grief by giving purpose to your son's untimely death and his illness. The film should be widely available as a teaching - learning tool for us all! My deepest respect and sympathy to you! JRM, north of Superior

  • The only thing that I can say is that evan was as says italylor00 wonderful, incredible person, and one of the best persons of the world that evan already died but in his note of farewell I believe that everything what he wrote it did not say indeed only that tape-worm fear but that God has it in his arms and glory brother rests

  • Thanks for this gift. I loved the glimpse of your sons life, and I can see that he was loved. ( also can see he felt the struggles of life more than most of us do. Best wishes to you and your family.

  • Good luck to you Dana and your family. The documentary was beautifully made and will make an impact on those of us who've lost loved ones to this horrible disease. You have made on hell of an impact and don't forget it.

  • Dana, I am so sorry for your loss. I cried so much while watching that film. He was such a wonderful young man, and he didn't know it. You are right, NO ONE should have to experience that and NO CHILD should have to feel that way. I wish you and your family the best. Tears, the only way I can describe that movie, nothing but tears.

  • Dana

    Thank You

    Ann
